Welcome Back!!
Suprise!!!
Yes, just in time for August and only 2.5 months after my last post, I'm back :-)
For those of you wondering / bothered where I've been, I'll cut the story short and blame the blogger.com site for technical issues the last time I tried to post, which suddenly seem to have been resolved months later :-/
Anyway, I'm looking for a new home for the blog so for now, i'm just going publish the last entry I tried to make back at the start of June. I'll add another post later this week to try and recap the events of June & July, but having read the post below I can tell you that not much has changed barring a few good times and a few bad.
So, enjoy a trip back in time with my old post below and I hope to have more pics, news of a new blog site and the highs and lows of the last few months.
Big Lovin ;-)

12 weeks, 3 months - whatever you want to call it, I've been here there or thereabouts. A lot has happened in that time, both personally and with work.
To be honest, it feels like a hell of a lot longer. Nevertheless, my 3 month probationary period at work has passed and I'm now planning my life around my future here.
I've just started my level 3 CyTech mechanics course which involves on the job assessments along with lots of homework! There's no real time constraints to the course, but my aim is to have the first section completed within a month - in time for the next visit of the CyTech assessor.
Jake has set the standard and it's good to have something to aim for, not least to have something to do after work!
With the job looking secure, I've started looking at properties to buy locally. Not only does it make finacial sense, but living and working with the same person is starting to grind me down somewhat :-/ Not much to tell otherwise since my last post. I've had the weekend off but was kinda at a loss with what to do with it. Went to the flicks in Edinburgh on Friday, which was a nice change. It's a pity Edinburgh is 30-odd miles away because it was buzzing and it would be good to get out there more without having to drive etc. Still, we had a good night even though muggins was driving and the movie was shite (latest X-men effort and by far the worst of the 3 films).
I sound like a right misery this week eh? I have my reasons. Not to worry though, I've had a nice lazy day today in preperation for a 15 day working stint with only 2 days off and had probably my most chilled day yet yesterday when the sun was glorious and I went for a long ride accompanied by a little picnic and glass of vino while mellowing out to the Black Crowes :-)
With that, i'll leave you with my only picture this week - my view as I lay on a picnic bench, chillin with the 'Crowes......
